DEATH... The End of a Journey

Death is the card that indicates a 'major' change needs to take place, to make way for new beginnings. This card is telling you that the flesh of the situation is rotted and gone, but the bones of the framework remain, and so it can be built upon again. A dramatic change could mean the end of a relationship, friendship, job, home, or project. Any of these changes would have a direct lifestyle change on you, and that's why this card is all about 'major' change because the change... will change you. So the key word with this card is transformation.

Sometimes the fear of actual change itself can make people try and resist such a change, but it is important to not too, as you will you only end up stagnated and drained. Remember, the end of something is not necessarily a negative development, the ending of something that has served it's purpose is actually a natural process in order for progression.

I know this card is telling me that my current situation is coming to an end and I am ready for a new start. Also Sunday's card The Wheel of Fortune (changes are about to happen), Monday's card Justice (taking responsibility), and Tuesday's card The Hanged Man (getting my affairs in order) would also all seem to tie in with today's card. My own circumstances are work related, what's yours?
