The Tower

Destruction, Upheaval and Change.

Have you ever longed to tear something down, in order to start again? The Tower is the card for big change. It's initial destructive energy destroys old habits, ways of thinking, upsets your ideas, and old way of being. The Tower usually means a major upheaval is happening, or is on the way. This may mean the loss of something such as a job, a relationship, or a friendship. It may be your old way of thinking, or way of life-style and doing things. However, such a change in your life will turn out for the better. So although the change may be an unexpected shock, and difficult to cope with at first, ultimately it will prove to a positive change, which was needed and will eventually bring enlightenment into your life.

This card is happening in my life right now. I've lost a job, and so my life is going through a major upheaval. Although I'm finding life pretty difficult at the moment, I'm hopeful it will turn out to be a positive experience in the long run.
